Originally created in 2024 as a branding concept for a quiet corner in Galway’s Westend. Solace is a project that always felt like it had more potential. I wanted to refresh the look, add motion and create a calmer feeling to the identity.
challenge
The hardest part was respecting the original idea while also letting it grow. Balancing simplicity with watercolour details was definitely a challenge! I wanted to create a motion piece that felt smooth and intentional without adding unnecessary effects.
results
The final piece feels more polished now. The added watercolour movement is smooth and thoughtful. Adding onto the original atmosphere of Solace.
